Land acknowledgement

The city of Ottawa, which gives this game its name, is on the unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabe Nation. We honour the Algonquin people, whose relationship with this land continues today. The name Ottawa comes from the Algonquin word adawe, "to trade".
